To witness the performance of the Eagle Kachina is an experience not soon forgotten.  The dancer becomes the Eagle, as he imitates the movements and cries of the great bird with skill and grace.  This Kachina appears in several ceremonies, and his dance is considered a prayer for the increase in the Eagle population.
